If you think, “a little water seepage can’t be that bad,” think again! If water or refrigerant is coming out of your air conditioner, a serious problem may be in motion. Similarly, if you notice frost or ice forming on your A/C coils on those cold winter nights in Santa Clarita, don’t think wiping it away will solve the problem.
If you detect bad smells and odors from your air conditioner on a regular basis, then it may be time for air conditioning service. The most common reasons we find is a dirty air filter, dead animal, wiring issue, and mold or mildew growing on the condenser coil.
Some people forget that Santa Clarita is a desert and how important it can be to the health of ourselves and loved ones to stay out of extreme heat. It goes without saying that if you feel only warm air from your air conditioner you need to schedule an air conditioning service visit to get cool air back again.
When your air conditioner is turned on but still makes unusual noises like screeches, squeals, hisses, whistles, clicks, clunks or something out of the ordinary, turn off your conditioner and call us for an air conditioning service visit because a part is broken or about to break.
Nothing is more frustrating when set your air conditioner thermostat to cool your rooms at the same temperature only to find that it changes when you walk from one room to the next. An air conditioning service visit can diagnose the source of this warning sign.

In houses with forced-air heating and cooling systems, ducts are used to distribute conditioned air throughout the house. In a typical house, however, about 20 percent of the air that moves through the duct system is lost due to leaks, holes, and poorly connected ducts. The result is higher utility bills and difficulty keeping the house comfortable, no matter how the thermostat is set.
The duct system that runs throughout your home and delivers all the air from the furnace (heating unit) and condensing unit (air conditioning unit) may be what keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the blazing heat of summer, but if your duct system is damaged, broken, or torn then you are wasting energy, which causes your utility bills to increase. Damaged ductwork allows air to escape inside walls or even cooling down your attic instead of delivering the air where it is intended inside your home. There are several ways that can cause damage to your ducting; Age & corrosion, rodents and animals, and home repairs or maintenance (cable service man, plumber, etc.).
